Huntmaster of the Rafters Free Company.Companion to Hedones Nintir, incompetent Fishing mentor, and really good at getting hit over and over.

His mother and father, natives to the Azim Steppe, were caught off guard by the short lived-Doman rebellions and forced to flee to Eorzia on the good graces of an Ul'dahn merchant ship. The Flan's Dignity landed the couple in the sands of the Silver Bazaar where they delivered Odgan. Struggling to adapt to the new nation while raising a child, the couple quickly made the best of a sour situation. His father worked at home and sold goods to traveling merchants to help the family eek out a meager existence until his mother's skill at hunting drew in the attention of the Immortal Flames Grand Company. Finally able to afford a small home in the city, they set about getting accustomed to the "city-folks" way of life. One he reached an age where it was easier on them, his mother would teach him basic swordplay and archery while his father brought him along to various business deals and trade venues. Letting their son learn both skills to survive instead of adhering to their clan's old traditions, the pair soon watched their son take up the calling of an adventurer. His first promise was to earn enough coin to take them back home.

Joining the Gladiator's Guild and fighting in the sands of the Coliseum, he followed the steps of his childhood hero and fought until catching the eye of First Sword Mylla and accepted her guidance to become an adventurer. Bronze and iron armor protecting his giant frame, he set out into Thanalan to earn enough coin to let his family rest without care. The calling of a Gladiator gave way to the path of the free Paladin as he joined the illustrious, if mysterious, ranks of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.Upon learning of his inborn ability to call upon the Echo, his urge to help others only grew upon seeing their painful pasts. Even when the Monetarists struck out at the Scions and stole the home of his family as an attempt to "quell rebellion" in the gilded city, he still focused on helping as many people as he could on his way into the wilds of Coerthas. Defeating primals, evading assassins, and taking stands against the Empire along his journey spread the reputation of the "blue knight" across Eorzia. After aiding and learning from a pair of fellow outsiders, a Hrothgar named Radovan and a Vierra named Sophie, he put away his adamantine armor and took up the gunblade. To the dismay of the Leveilleur twins, the knight didn't go into hiding as much as simply refuse the calling of an oath. Keeping his signature colors but using newly found aetherial shells and magical shields, he joined the nearly extinct ranks of Gunnhildr's Blades. Deciding to forsake loyalty to a single nation, he swore to help anyone in need while still drawing breath. After the defeat of the Ultima Weapon, the betrayal of the Crystal Braves, and the threats against his loved ones, Odgan happily takes his leave for the lands of Ishgard when asked. Making a single promise to his mother that he would be safe, he gave her a home in the Goblet before moving onward.
